Paying from Bangladesh: how it actually works

Money moves in and out through the mobile financial services already used for everyday transfers in Bangladesh: bKash, Nagad and Rocket, with bank transfer as a slower alternative. If you have sent money from your wallet app before, you already know the mechanics. What is different is what happens on the betting side afterwards, and that is where deposits go wrong.

You will find pages listing exact minimums, maximums and processing times for each method. Treat them carefully. Those values are set by the operator, differ by account status and currency, and change without announcement, which is why published figures disagree with each other: at the time of writing, two well known affiliate sites quoted minimum bKash deposits that differed by a factor of two. The cashier screen inside your own account is the only figure that applies to you, and it takes ten seconds to read.

💳 What to check before your first deposit

What to checkWhere you see itWhy it matters
Minimum and maximum per method Cashier screen, after selecting the method Differs by wallet and changes; a transfer below the minimum can sit unmatched
Whether a fee is applied Cashier screen, and your wallet app's own charge Two separate fees can apply: the operator's and your wallet provider's
Name on the wallet Your wallet account details It must match your betting account name, or verification will fail later
Reference or transaction ID field The deposit form A transfer sent without it is the most common reason a deposit does not appear
Whether you are opting into a bonus The checkbox on the deposit form Accepting a bonus locks your balance to wagering conditions until they clear

📱 Depositing with bKash

The flow is a merchant payment, not a person to person send. In the cashier you choose bKash, enter the amount, and are shown a merchant number and a reference. You then open the bKash app, make the payment to that number, and bring the transaction ID back to the deposit form.

  1. Log in and open the cashier, then select bKash.
  2. Enter an amount inside the minimum and maximum shown on that screen.
  3. Decide there and then whether you want the bonus. This is the moment it binds.
  4. Send the payment from your bKash app to the merchant number given, using the reference.
  5. Enter the transaction ID back on the site and wait for the balance to update.

If the balance does not move, the cause is almost always one of three things: the reference was omitted, the amount fell below the minimum, or the payment came from a wallet registered to a different name. Keep the transaction ID either way, because it is the first thing support will ask for.

💰 Depositing with Nagad

Nagad follows the same pattern as bKash, and the same three failure modes apply. Select Nagad in the cashier, enter the amount, complete the payment in the Nagad app against the merchant number and reference you are shown, then confirm on the site. The one difference worth knowing is that limits and any fee are set separately per method, so a figure you read for bKash does not carry over.

🚀 Depositing with Rocket

Rocket also follows the merchant payment flow. Because Rocket accounts carry a trailing digit for the account type, check that the number you enter on the site is exactly the one your wallet shows, including that digit. A mismatch here produces a payment that succeeds in your app and never arrives on the betting side, which is the most frustrating version of the problem to unpick.

🔒 Withdrawals, verification and the rules that bite

Understand withdrawals before you deposit, not after. Three conditions govern whether money comes back out, and all three are easier to satisfy on day one than in a hurry later.

Verification. Larger withdrawals are released only after identity checks: a photo ID, and evidence that the payment method belongs to you. Doing this immediately after registering, while you have nothing waiting, removes the delay everyone complains about.

Bonus conditions. If you accepted a bonus, its wagering requirement has to be met before the bonus balance can be withdrawn. Withdrawing early normally forfeits it. This is why the decision on the deposit form matters more than it looks.

Same route back. Withdrawals generally return to the method you deposited from, in the same name. This is standard anti money laundering practice across the industry rather than an operator preference, and it is not usually negotiable.

One habit is worth more than any guide: make a small first deposit, complete verification straight away, and withdraw a small amount before committing anything larger. You learn what the real processing time is for your account, on your method, and you learn it while the stake is trivial.

Before you use any of this

Note that under the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2012, as applied by the Gambling Prevention Act 2026 in force since 1 July 2026, gambling related transfers through MFS accounts such as bKash, Nagad and Rocket fall within Bangladeshi money laundering provisions. Online gambling is an offence under that Act regardless of where the operator is licensed. This page describes how the payment mechanics work; deciding what to do with that is yours, and none of this is legal advice.

Gambling carries real financial risk and can become compulsive. It is for adults only. Never move money you cannot afford to lose, and if gambling is affecting your life or someone else's, treat that as the more important problem.

Current limits, fees and processing times are shown in the cashier of the operator's own site, which is the only place they are guaranteed to be current.
